Charlotte Melvin of Leigh Leopards was unsuccessful in a challenge against a Grade B dangerous contact charge arising from the Women’s Origin fixture on Saturday 2 August.
Having been found guilty by the independent Operational Rules Tribunal after pleading not guilty, she incurred an additional five penalty points.
As the offence had originally carried three points, the resulting tally of eight points means a one match suspension.
